Alliance Bloomfield High School is a free public charter school authorized by the Los Angeles Unified School District and part of a network of independent public charter schools that provide world-class educational services to address the unique needs of each scholar.

  • In addition to being one of the top high schools in America, our extracurricular activities offered include music, art, cooking, college courses, computer labs, cheer and Junior State of America, an organization that builds leadership and civic engagement through volunteer work and activism.
  • We partner with: East Los Angeles College so scholars can earn college credit in high school, Step Up, a program geared to inspire confidence in girls, YBA, an organization that brings career skills into the classroom by leveraging businesses in the community, Mathematics Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) an academic preparation program for scholars.
  • Each scholar has the use of a tablet to keep up with the 21st-century world.

Principal Profile​

Vanessa Sandoval started her teaching career at Alliance Neuwirth High School. Ms. Sandoval later earned her masters in educational administration and became an assistant principal prior to becoming principal at Alliance Bloomfield High School. She leads with  integrity, empathy, and holds high expectations for all.
