Alliance Ouchi High is located in South Los Angeles. The area is primarily home to African American and Latino families. 


Points of Pride 

Last year 98% of scholars graduated with the requirements needed to apply to Cal State and University of California campuses. In 2009 this high school was named as a California Distinguished School and was recognized in the most exemplary, inspiring and well-rounded community public schools. Since 2012 it has also been named as a top school by US News & World Report. 



96% Latino, 4% African American/Black, 16% English Language Learner (ELL), 8% special education, and 90% free or reduced meal program participants.


Principal Profile 

Dea TramblePrior to her role as principal since 2011, Dea Tramble served as Assistant Principal for Sutter Middle School and then as an Operations Administrator for Local District 1 to train over 100 elementary, middle, and high school administrators on LAUSD policies and procedures.  She began her career in education as a teacher and guidance counselor in LAUSD at Carver Middle School for seven years. Ms. Tramble has a bachelor's degree from California State University, Fullerton, and a master's in Science, School Counseling, and Leadership from California State University, Los Angeles.
