Alliance Patti & Peter Neuwirth Leadership Academy (Alliance Neuwirth Academy) is located in the South Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles. The area is primarily home to African American and Latino families.
Points of Pride
Last year 97% of scholars graduated with the requirements needed to apply to Cal State and University of California campuses. Alliance Neuwirth Academy has been recognized as a top high school by US News & World Report.

Principal
Candice Dagnino started her career in education teaching Spanish and Math in grades K-12. She later moved to Brazil as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant where she coached and helped mentor English teachers. Afterward, she earned a second master’s degree in School Leadership at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and became a principal. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Portuguese from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in Arts in Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University.
