Mónica Vasquez, is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the organization’s talent management initiatives, to advance the Alliance’s objective of recruiting, selecting, developing, evaluating, rewarding and retaining top talent.
Prior to joining Alliance, Mónica served as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), making sure SFUSD leveraged its greatest organizational asset—its people—in pursuit of its mission. She has also been a Vice President with Educational Services of America, part of the senior management team at The Breakthrough Collaborative and has held several roles at Teach For America.
