Robert Wycoff retired as President and Chief Operating Officer of ARCO in 1993, after forty years of working with the company. He brings business management expertise as well has experience in driving education reform initiatives to the Alliance.
During his time at ARCO, and continuing after his retirement, Mr. Wycoff has been engaged in a number of Los Angeles-area community organizations. He served on the California Commission on Higher Education. He was also a charter Board Member of the Los Angeles Education Alliance for Restructuring Now (LEARN), and served on the Board of Governors for the Los Angeles Annenberg Metropolitan Project (LAAMP), the two organizations that would later join together to form Alliance College-Ready Public Schools.
