Virgil Roberts is Managing Partner for the entertainment industry law firm of Bobbitt & Roberts. He previously served as President of Solar Records.
Currently, Mr. Roberts is Chairman of the Board of the California Community Foundation, Treasurer of the Los Angeles Private Industry Council, Vice Chairman of the Public Education Fund Network, and a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development. He also serves on the Board of Community Build, and is a Trustee of Occidental College and the Marlborough School.
Mr. Roberts is a former Board Member for the California Teacher Credentialing Commission. He also served on the Board of Los Angeles Education Alliance for Restructuring Now (LEARN), and as Board Chairman of the Los Angeles Annenberg Metropolitan Project (LAAMP), the two organizations that would later join together to form Alliance College-Ready Public Schools.
Mr. Roberts earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Brenda.
