WHAT IS ALLIANCE NEW TEACHER ORIENTATION (NTO)?
Alliance New Teacher Orientation (NTO) is a week-long program that welcomes new-to-Alliance teachers to our network and introduces them to key ideas, skills, and systems to support a smooth kick off to the school year. Participants can expect to learn more about Alliance’s mission and values as well as our approach to instruction and culture. Some sessions may be differentiated for teachers who are new to the network versus new to the profession, as appropriate. Additionally, participants will receive important human resources information -- such as benefits details, credentialing requirements, and safety information -- and will be introduced to key platforms they’ll need to access as Alliance teachers.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND NTO?
All full-time instructional staff who are new to Alliance are required to attend the entire week before your work in Alliance schools can begin. You will be paid for your daily attendance.

WHEN WILL NTO TAKE PLACE?
Webinars, synchronous, and asynchronous sessions will begin Monday, July 26, and last through Friday, July 30.

Check your email for more detailed information in June and July. But you don’t have to wait to register.
