Principal Sanchez

Principal Profile

Rogelio Sanchez, Jr. became the principal of Alliance Judy Ivie Burton Technology Academy High School in 2014. Before joining Alliance Burton Tech, Mr. Sánchez spent five years at Alliance Patti & Peter Neuwirth Leadership Academy, where he began as a physical education teacher, and later became the school’s assistant principal. Previously, Mr. Sánchez served as an athletic coach for various teams at South East High School and James A. Garfield Senior High. Mr. Sanchez is also on the Los Angeles City Section CIF Board of Managers, as well as on the Executive Committee. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a master's degree in education administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
