Alliance Students Advocate for Immigrant Rights

25 students across 7 Junior State of America chapters presented and delivered a public survey supporting the need to legalize street vendors in their community to Council Chamber Public Works and Gang Reduction Committees. Both Committees unanimously approved the plan to be considered by the entire City Council.
 
Last month on November 23rd, the LA Times covered the City Hall public hearing, including details about the policy proposed by Councilmen Curren Price and Joe Buscaino.
