Alliance Marc & Eva Stern Math and Science School achieved a 2010 Academic Performance Index (API) score of 789, ranking it the 15th top-performing public high school in LAUSD. CST results: 51% Advanced Proficient in English, 30% Advanced/Proficient in Math. Demographics and Average Daily Attendance

Principal Profile

Kirsten Woo served as the founding assistant principal of Alliance Marc and Eva Stern Math and Science School before joining the Alliance home office as the director of assessment and data analysis services.  In that role, she used her knowledge of school accountability, high stakes testing, student demographics, and instructional support to allow each school to further drive curricular and instructional decisions. Ms. Woo began her educational career as a secondary English teacher and served as a department chair, WASC focus group leader, and secretary of the school site council. She holds a bachelor's in English and Asian American Studies from University of California, Irvine, and a master's in education from Claremont Graduate University.
