A New Honor for Gertz-Ressler High School

The California Charter Schools Association has named Gertz-Ressler High School one of 17 Certified Charter Schools.

The recognition is awarded to charter public schools that demonstrate a commitment to quality standards with accountability.  “Since we opened our doors, our goal has been to high student achievement, quality, and accountability. This award validates our efforts,” said  Principal Howard Lappin.

The Certification Program is designed to provide families, charter school authorizers, and school faculties with verification of the quality of charter schools.   Certification assures all stakeholders that a charter school’s academic and operational programs have undergone a rigorous, independent review process.
