Five New Alliance Charter Schools Approved
The roster of Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools has nearly doubled with the unanimous approval by the Los Angeles School Board of all five Alliance charter petitions.
Returning Students and Waiting Lists
Enrollment projections for the 2006-2007 school year point to the continuing growth and appeal of Alliance Charter Schools. Over 98% of first-year students will return in September to continue their College-Ready education, according to reports from the four campuses.
Nearly 80% Pass CAHSEE
The latest results of the California High School Exit Exam placed the Alliance’s first class of tenth graders well on their way to high school graduation.
Donors Reward the Positive Performance of Alliance Schools with $4.6 million
At a rate of nearly a million dollars a month, contributions and grants from foundations and individual supporters continue to
endorse the mission of the Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools. Nearly $4.6 million have been donated in the first quarter of the year.
Alliance Honor Roll
More than 30% of students in Alliance charter schools earned or exceeded grades of 3.0, and 10% of those earned 4.0 GPA.
