Donors Reward the Positive Performance of Alliance Schools with $4.6 million
At a rate of nearly a million dollars a month, contributions and grants from foundations and individual supporters continue to endorse the mission of the Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools. Nearly $4.4 million have been donated in the first quarter of the year.
“Donors demand accountability. We have strong results to report about the academic success of our students. Our supporters respond to that,” says Alliance CEO Judy Burton. “Our schools are already outperforming local schools.” In the past five months, friends of the Alliance have acknowledged the positive results and the mission of Alliance schools with $4,595,850 dollars. The Alliance will open three new schools in September, providing high quality education for more students and their families. The equation is simple: more funding equals more opportunities to serve students in traditionally underserved neighborhoods. “We are working hard to secure contributions that enable us to continue expanding our reach,” explains Judy Burton. A tax-deductible donation will enrich our students, their families, and their communities. Your gift can be made payable to:
