Reflect on Results, Look to the Future
Another school year has come and gone, but for the Alliance for College-Ready Schools, this year has been anything but ordinary. Our students, teachers, parents, and staff have made this school year one for the ages, and for that, I congratulate each and every one of you. College-Ready High School completed its second year, which was a tremendous success, while students, teachers, and parents at College-Ready Huntington Park, Heritage High School, and College-Ready Middle School all participated in a historic first year school experience. Your hard work and dedication has now set the bar for future classes to achieve as much as you have, if not more.
The Alliance has worked hard to build new, permanent school sites, and we are looking forward to three of our schools moving into brand new buildings this fall. This was only made possible because of the incredible and generous support we have received from donors, as well as the magnificent leadership shown by Judy Burton, the management team, and the principals. Enjoy the summer, and as we embark on the 2006-07 year, let’s all strive to do even better.
