Alliance Expands
to Four Schools
When school begins on August 29th, three more College-Ready charter schools will welcome students to the opportunities offered by their small, high-performing learning environments.
Funding Support Soars
Three Alliance schools will start the year with $1.2 million dollars awarded in State Charter School grants.
Moving in the Right DirectionStudent scores are in at College-Ready Academy High School, and the data make a strong statement about the academic progress of this first-year class. Students improved in every category in language arts.

Meet the Class of 2013
Loud applause and cheers erupted from students and parents as Principal Howard Lappin described their new school. “Welcome to our community of learners, where school is safe, expectations are high, classes are small, and we know how to prepare you for a four-year college.”

When high school students from across Los Angeles converged at UCLA as Riordan Scholars, the teens from College-Ready High School were the only ninth graders invited to participate.
