POSITION: SYSTEM ANALYST

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF STUDENT INFORMATION SERVICES

STATUS: FULL-TIME

SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $60,000 plus Health Benefits and Retirement

The Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools is seeking a System Analyst. The System Analyst will be working directly with School Focal Points at each school on implementation and ongoing technical support.  This is an essential function to ensure that all student data is managed properly and reports are generated accurately.  If you have an interest in helping transform public education along with a customer service focus, we would like to hear from you.

• Data Analysis (Error Checking, Trend Analysis, etc.)
• Provide SIS technical support to users at school sites
• Assist with training users at all levels on how to more effectively use SIS.
• Document internal information systems practices and procedures. 

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of PowerSchool is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of JavaSript, Java and SQL programming is highly desirable.
• Experience with data requirements and mapping.
• Familiarity with data analysis is required.
• Strong people skills and the ability to handle customers effectively with analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong customer service orientation, responding to customer needs in a timely manner.
• Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing environments.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
