On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools (Alliance), I welcome you to our website. We are excited about our success to date and we believe that the Alliance is uniquely positioned to deliver the successful creation and operation of high performing charter schools. Our board members and senior staff are individuals with many years of experience in seeking to make a good education attainable for all of Los Angeles youth. (Please see website for the list of directors, advisors, and senior management team.) Our business plan calls for establishing 20 new public charter schools over the next five years.

Our goal is to serve students living in historically underachieving, low-income, overcrowded communities in Los Angeles. The Alliance’s high performance schools will deliver a consistent educational environment and experience for students . . . preparing every student with the skills and knowledge to enter college. Our public charter schools will not only offer students a choice, but will also help address the critical shortage of classroom seats within the Los Angeles Unified School District.
