Help Alliance Luskin Academy students prepare for a Business Plan Competition on April 9th at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Students will compete in teams by creating an original business plan and presenting to a panel of judges in front of an audience. As the students prepare for the competition, you can help as a mentor to guide student teams writing their original business plans and providing feedback and advice. Your expertise is an important resources that can help students develop problem-solving skills in finance, marketing and operations. Commitment is flexible - mentors can decide to add dates or switch to online mentorship.
In addition to helping students on a business plan, mentors can also help students on their presentation skills for when they pitch their plans at the competition. In this capacity, mentors will help students with their Powerpoint slides, coach them on public speaking, and provide any guidance related to pitching their business.
