Teaching Positions


2016-17 School Year Teaching Positions 
Teacher Application Requirements
All applications for teaching positions must include:
  • resume
  • cover letter (including your interest in teaching at Alliance and alignment to our Core Values)
  • two recommendation letters
  • teacher credential documentation (see detail below)

Applicants with the following credentials are welcome to apply:

California (CA) Credentialed Teacher

California University

Internship Credential Eligible

  • Verification of your eligibility for an internship credential (university letter with anticipated internship credential issue date)
 NOTE: Please confirm your university's requirements for University Intern status
California Credential in Progress
  • Copy of passed CBEST score
  • Copy of passed CSET scores
  • Copy of unofficial undergraduate transcripts
  • If you are currently in a credential program, university letter with anticipated program completion date

Non-California Credential,Transferring to California

  • Screen shot of your current out-of-state teaching credential
  • Copy of unofficial undergraduate transcripts
  • Copy of passed Out-of-State Basic Skills Exam or passed CBEST score
  • Copy of CTC application (if you have begun the transfer process)
  • CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing website for more information on transferring your out-of-state credential to CA
