  • You will be contacted if a hiring manager is interested in moving forward with you in their process. If your application does not move forward, you may not be contacted due to large application volumes.
  • For school certificated positions (e.g. teachers, administrators and counselors), may be contacted for multiple interviews as one application can be considered for all Alliance schools.

Candidate Holding a CA Teaching Credential

Record of holding a valid CA Single Subject, Multiple Subjects, or Education Specialist Teaching Credential issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

 

(Print out of record can be obtained by going to http://www.ctc.ca.gov/ and using the Search for an Educator tool.)

 

 

Candidate Enrolled in a CA Teaching Credential Program and Eligible for a CA University Internship Credential

Letter on college or university letterhead confirming candidate has met all requirements to be formally recommended for a CA Single Subject/Multiple Subjects Credential.

 

Candidate Pending Enrollment in a CA Single Subject Teaching Credential Program

 

OR

 

Candidate Enrolled in CA Single Subject Teaching Credential Program, but Not Yet Credential Eligible

Copy of California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) score, and

Unofficial undergraduate transcripts reflecting B.A. degree and degree major in the subject area or at least 18 semester units, or 9 upper division semester units, of course work in the subject to be listed on the credential permit.

 

(HR will review these documents to determine if candidate qualifies for a Provisional Internship Permit (PIP) or Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP). If eligibility is confirmed, candidate will be required to provide additional documentation to complete a formal application to the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing.)

Candidate Pending Enrollment in a CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program

 

OR

 

Candidate enrolled in CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program, but Not Yet Credential Eligible

Copy of California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) score, and

Unofficial undergraduate transcripts reflecting B.A. degree and degree major in liberal studies or 40 total semester units (subject areas include language studies, history, literature, humanities, mathematics, the arts, science, physical education, social science, and human development).

 

(HR will review these documents to determine if candidate qualifies for a Provisional Internship Permit (PIP) or Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP). If eligibility is confirmed, candidate will be required to provide additional documentation to complete a formal application to the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing.)

 

Candidate Holding Only an Out-of-State Teaching Credential

Copy of Out-of-State Credential, and

Unofficial undergraduate transcripts, and

Copy of performance evaluation(s) from previous Out-of-State teaching assignment(s), and

Copy of CA Basics Educational Skills Test (CBEST) score or Out-of-State equivalent

 

(HR will review these documents to determine the appropriate application route for transferring the out-of-state credential to a CA credential. Candidate will be required to provide additional documentation to complete a formal application for to the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing.)
